Bear's Dedication 1-24-08

This past Saturday was a very special day. We dedicated and commited to the Christian nurture of our dear Bear at church. It was neat to have Pastor Steve read a special verse to our son as I looked at his precious little face on the screen above us. It is just awe-inspiring to think that God has a special plan for his life and that He is working through us now, to begin His work. Afterwards, we went to dinner to celebrate. It was special to share the day with our family, since they will also contribute to his Christian growth throughout his life. Unfortunately my dad wasn't able to make it (he had just gotten home from some foreign country), but I know my mom was smiling down from heaven as it was also her birthday - Happy Birthday Mom!
